Park Digital Expo Draws Mid-May Crowd in Minnesota

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – More than 60 stone fabricators and professionals from across the United States took part here May 17-18 in Park Industries’ latest Digital Stoneworking Expo.

It also included shop tours, fabricator presentations with metrics, and animated discussion on the digital fabrication process.

Each shop tour featured lines of tour attendees weaving through the Park machinery as it sliced and severed stone. The networking of fabricators, shop owners, and Park employees the conversation on strengthening their competitive edge.

Speakers Scott Hanes of Majestic Marble & Granite in Orlando, Fla., and Dave Scott of Slabworks of Montana in Bozeman, Mont., showed how digital technology transformed their fabrication of countertops. In addition, Park Industries shared insight into what the digital future holds in the manufacturing industry.

Park partners Moraware, Laser Products, alphacam, and SlabSmith also offered hand-on demonstrations during the event.
