Natural Stone Institute Continues R.I.S.E. Support

OBERLIN, Ohio & CHESTERTOWN, N.Y. – The Natural Stone Institute is honored to continue its support the Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment).

Since entering into an agreement with R.I.S.E. in late 2016, natural stone has been included in nine adapted smart homes for veterans with special needs. Seven additional homes are currently under construction.

“We are proud and humbled by this opportunity,” said 2017 MIA President Jon Lancto. “I can’t think of a better way to involve our entire membership in the efforts led by the Gary Sinise Foundation that benefit those who have sacrificed on behalf of our country.”
