Laser Products Receives New Product Award
ROMEOVILLE, Ill. –The new LT-2D3D-C Laser Measuring system from Laser Products Industries (LPI) recently received the Visionary Award from the Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS).
Cited for its ability to improve workplace productivity, the laser system topped 33 finalists nominated from 27 companies in judging from leaders in the woodworking industry. LPI received the honor during the 2017 AWFS® Fair in mid-July in Las Vegas.
Products are evaluated on quality, production impact, practicality, innovation and user-friendliness, and are presented annually at the AWFS® Fair.
The LT-2D3D-C was specifically designed with the woodworking industry in mind to rapidly record precise jobsite measurements, seamlessly import collected data into industry-leading 3D design and layout software, and generate renderings in minutes rather than hours or days.
The system was developed to give woodworkers a substantial competitive advantage in both winning new jobs and expanding business opportunities. New this year is an optional high-resolution camera that ensures woodworking fabricators the most accurate measurements regardless of distance or lighting conditions.

The AWFS®Fair is an annual event that brings together the entire home- and commercial-furnishings industry, including manufacturers and distributors of machinery, hardware, lumber, construction materials and other suppliers to manufacturers of furniture and cabinetry, along with custom woodworkers.
