Regent Products Hires Moran as CNC Specialist

Jason MoranVIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Regent Products is glad to announce the hiring of Jason Moran as a CNC Tool Technician. Moran is a full-time technician whose goal is to set up CNC tooling on site while training operators how to better manage their tooling, as well as increase machine operation and maximize overall shop efficiency.

Moran brings several years of stone fabrication experience to the Regent team. He’s managed several fabrication shops, programming and operating a multitude of automated machines including many makes of CNC routers, saw jets, and straight- line machines.

His experience with solving real time problems on CNC routers is a huge benefit as a field technician. He not only has a great feel for the tooling, he can help optimize the production on machines for a shop’s particular needs, giving him an advantage over tool technicians with less field operating experience.

Moran has been very busy lately setting up Marmoelettromeccanica’s Extra High Speed CNC profile tooling which can run at speeds up to 400 inches per minute. With this tooling at twice the feed rate of any other tooling on the market, along with his in-the-field experience, Moran can get a shop producing countertops at a very efficient level.
